Repetition is created when a writer repeats specific words or sentences throughout a specific piece of literature. The most prominent language feature of Wombat stew is repetition. Wombat stew’s language features include but are not limited to, the succeeding information. However, wombat’s friends try to help him, this is when things go very wrong for the dingo.

I am currently reading “Wombat stew” (Vaughan & Lofts, 2010) a children’s book about a dingo, who one day on the banks of a billabong, catches a fat wombat and decides to make a wombat stew. Consideration needs to be given to particular language features within literature, as they can either enhance or detract from the work.
